◆ For teachers & schools

Whole-class SPaG, without the admin.

Deploy to your whole Year 6 cohort in minutes. Teachers get instant visibility; pupils get an experience they actually want to open.

Built for the Year 6 classroom

The run-up to SATS is a squeeze on everyone, and SPaG is the strand where the gaps are hardest to see at a glance. SATS LION gives Year 6 pupils short, game-first practice they will actually open, and gives you a live read on where the cohort stands, without adding to your marking pile.

It runs in the browser on the devices you already have, the content is human-reviewed against the statutory framework, and it is built data-minimal from the ground up. No install, no edu-jargon, no scramble for evidence on a Friday afternoon.

Whole-class dashboard

Every pupil across the four SPaG strands at a glance: who is on track, who to watch, who needs help.

Curriculum-aligned

Every question written and human-reviewed against the KS2 statutory framework. Nothing outside the test.

Central pupil logins

Managed by the school with a class code and a pupil code. No parent app-store accounts, no forgotten passwords, no setup faff.

Privacy-first

Data-minimal handling, with a Data Processing Agreement and DPIA for schools on request.

Zero install on Chromebooks

Runs in the browser, so it works on the devices you already have. Nothing to download, push or update.

Evidence for SLT

Clear, exportable progress views for pupil progress meetings, interventions and SLT conversations.

The teacher dashboard

Open it on Monday morning and the whole cohort is laid out across spelling, grammar, punctuation and vocabulary. Filter by pupil or strand, spot the gaps, and act before the mock does, not after.

It is built to save you the Friday-afternoon data trawl, with evidence-ready views for SLT and progress meetings.

How a pilot works

No procurement maze. Four simple steps, free for six weeks, and you decide at the end.

  1. Book a short call

Tell us about your cohort and what you want to see. We will check SATS LION is a fit before anyone signs anything.

  2. We set up your class

You get a class code and pupil codes. No parent app-store accounts and no per-pupil admin marathon to get started.

  3. Pupils play for six weeks

Your whole Year 6 cohort practises in short daily sessions, in class or at home, while the dashboard fills in.

  4. We review it together

At the end we look at the data with you. If it earned its place you keep going; if not, you walk away with no cost and no commitment.

Pupil Premium

Schools commonly fund targeted revision tools like SATS LION from Pupil Premium where it supports eligible pupils. Book a pilot and we will talk through how it fits your cohort, your evidence needs and your budget.

Data protection

A pupil carries only a first name and year group, there are no ads or trackers, and data is hosted in the EU. We act as your data processor and provide a Data Processing Agreement and a DPIA on request. See our data protection page.

Questions schools ask

Who is the data controller?

When a school uses SATS LION, the school is the data controller and we act as your data processor. We process pupil data only on your instructions and only to run the service.

What does the pilot cost?

Nothing. The six-week pilot is free for your whole Year 6 cohort, with no card and no commitment. We are brand new and would rather earn your trust on the classroom floor than with a sales pitch.

How do pupils log in?

Pupils join with a class code and a personal pupil code that the school manages. There are no pupil emails, no passwords for children to forget, and no app-store accounts to chase parents about.

Will it run on our Chromebooks?

Yes. SATS LION runs in the browser, so it works on the Chromebooks, tablets and PCs you already have. There is nothing to install, push out or keep updated.

Can we fund it from Pupil Premium?

Schools commonly fund targeted revision tools from Pupil Premium where it supports eligible pupils. Book a pilot and we will talk through how it fits your cohort, your evidence needs and your budget.
